What IP numbers can you use on your local net ?
When you dont have a real IP number there is a range of IP numbers you can use on your local net when it is not connected with the internet.

"Bogus" IP Addresses Not Routed ( RFC 1929 )

Class A	10.0.0.0	10.255.255.255
Class B	172.16.0.0	172.31.255.255
	192.168.*.*

You can also use this numbers when you connect to the internet throug a proxy on your own network.
