BMW Recall In China
SHANGHAI, July 14, 2006; Reuters reported that BWM, the world's largest premium car maker, said on Friday it was recalling 2,662 sedans in China because of potential defects in shock absorbers.
The BMW 5, 6 and 7 series cars, including 2,131 imported cars, were produced between January 9 and April 26 this year, the German company said in a statement.
So far no accidents or injuries had been linked to the defects, it said. It did not mention similar cars made during the period but sold elsewhere.
